Luxury dementia care near the Peak District
Social, physical and emotional wellbeing activities tailored to each resident.
We encourage residents to pursue their individual interests, providing support to maintain hobbies without pressure. Care staff help residents make informed choices about how to spend their time, with unnecessary risk avoided.
Our qualified care staff encourage community-spirited activity participation to ensure a sense of inclusion, with activities tailored to each resident's needs and preferences. These include prize bingo, dominoes, craft sessions, horticultural therapy, beauty and relaxation activities, and golf and croquet on the lawn. Outings to local garden centres and parks, and drives into the countryside, help stimulate memories.
A Chairobics instructor visits every Friday, and Ranmoor church holds Communion and the 'Lost Chord' musical experience for dementia sufferers twice a month. All religions and cultures are recognised, and residents are supported to join celebrations. Visiting is permitted at any time, with garden parties in summer and themed cocktail evenings at Christmas. A spa therapist also visits twice a month to provide facials, manicures, pedicures and massages.
